The UNESCO Chair on Communication and Sustainable Development (COSDEV) focuses its activities on interdisciplinary research on communication and sustainable development. For that purpose, we strive to continue to develop multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary communication studies in order to solve problems related to SDG’s. As a developing country, Indonesia faces a variety of issues related to SDG’s that need to be studied and addressed. Through different research approaches to SDG’s, we can provide recommendations and solutions. Therefore, we will increase and strengthen our research collaboration with various universities and research institutions both in Indonesia and outside of the country. This effort to open cooperation with and access international levels has become the main concern of the Chair.
Furthermore, the Chair will continue to integrate activity between education, research, and community building. As we have done in the past, our research activities are integrated with education and community building strategies, such as conducting training sessions and providing assistance to the community. These are aspects to be strengthened further.
Our objectives:
- To promote inclusive communities through integrated research, education, and training.
- To establish strategic partnership between the chair and other institutions to support opening the access to national and international levels.
